Job Description
You’ll be part of the Single Serve R&D team 👩🔬 – a diverse, supportive crew where we learn, grow, and win together.
As R&D Program Specialist, your mission is to help drive innovation and make sure our Tassimo & Senseo products keep hitting the mark. We’re counting on your smarts and your people skills to make it happen.
You’ll play a key role in keeping our ideas real, relevant, and impactful across the value chain.
What you’ll own:
- Lead groups to deliver new product & processing designs to the JDE PEET’S Tassimo & Senseo Categories.
- Contribute to the realization of the business value creation plan by technical innovation and capability development.
- Scope R&D projects by assessing R&D program proposals and provides advice to the Category Manager & Category Director.
- Responsible and accountable of an effective hand-over of projects to the R&D Program team, ensuring successful implementation & delivery in the next phase of the projects.
Qualifications
👀 Who we’re looking for
We’re after someone with an entrepreneurial mindset and a high bar for quality—someone who takes ownership, isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves, and knows how to bring real value to the table.
You’ve got experience in product innovation and know your way around fast-paced environments. You’re a team player who thrives in diverse teams (just like us), and while experience matters, we’re more interested in who you are and the energy you bring.
We’re not into long lists of “must-haves,” but here’s what would definitely be a plus:
🎓 Background in Engineering or Food Science (like Biochemistry, Food Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering)
✅ 8+ years of hands-on experience in product development, innovation, or process tech in the food industry (R&D or Ops)
🤝 Confidence working with and influencing senior stakeholders
