Incredible innovations are enabled through Technology, we are seeking a passionate innovator to join our Technology Solutions Global R&D team as R&D program manager or program lead.

Just how we like it!  As a Program manager/lead you will be asked to lead a team of technology and development specialist ensuring high level of engagement with the right people development, ensure excellent execution of T4G projects and manage program roadmaps to deliver value to the business. Program content will be focused but not limited to green coffee, grinding and roasting.

For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on the interpersonal skillset you have developed over the years. You will play a crucial role in creating and protecting the sustainable delivery we look for in our value chain. You will be responsible for the following :

  •  Strategic Leadership: Manage technology programs to ensure medium term business targets are met, flagging gaps and pro-actively work with platform managers to close them.
  • Process and Product Innovation: Leverage your deep understanding of process technology and/or dairy/powder/ingredient science to drive solutions for project and/or operational challenges as well as create breakthroughs in roadmaps..
  • Collaboration: Build and foster strong partnerships with R&D and supply peers. Act as R&D knowledge owner in senior management reviews
  • Team leadership: Lead a talented team of technology and development specialists. Nurture their growth, inspire creativity and drive results.

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced individual with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it’s important for you to have a certain level of seniority as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves”, however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with leading technology and/or ingredient development and influencing business plans / business alignment but ultimately we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of proven track record with product and/or process development project management in the food industry (R&D and/or Operations).
  • Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills (also non-hierarchical).
  • Innovative Mindset: Passion for pushing boundaries and exploring new possibilities.
  • Business Acumen: Ability to balance technical excellence with commercial viability
