Location: Hybrid | JDE Peet’s HQ, Netherlands
Function: R&D Packaging Specialist

We’re looking for someone curious, hands-on, and excited to shape the future of packaging — with sustainability at the heart of what we do.
You’ll work with suppliers, collaborate across teams, and help bring new packaging solutions to life.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Develop and test smart packaging solutions (especially in fibres and sustainability)
  • Lead or support NPD and innovation projects
  • Build partnerships with suppliers, R&D teams, and even universities
  • Share your findings via clear reports and presentations
  • Be a packaging go-to within a collaborative, global team

Qualifications

🤩 Who You Are:

  • You’ve got 7+ years of experience in packaging or R&D (FMCG preferred)
  • You’ve launched real packaging into the world (not just concepts)
  • Great at working cross-functionally (think Ops, Procurement, BU teams)
  • Strong communicator — you can explain ideas clearly and drive decisions
  • You love juggling multiple projects and getting stuff done
  • You’re curious, practical, and always looking to improve
