Job Description

We’re looking for a creative, and strategically-minded Senior Brand Manager to lead the brand equity and communications agenda across our iconic instant coffee portfolio—Kenco, L’OR, and Douwe Egberts. This is a pivotal role within the Instants team, focused on shaping the future of our brands and driving cultural relevance, consumer connection, and commercial impact.

 

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead Brand Communication Strategy - Own and evolve the long-term communication model, balancing purpose-led storytelling with product news to drive equity and growth.
  • Drive Cultural Relevance - Elevate our campaigns to resonate deeply with consumers, embedding our brands in culture and conversation.
  • Champion Consumer Recruitment - Develop strategies to engage the next generation of coffee drinkers, ensuring our brands remain relevant and loved.
  • Social & Influencer Leadership - Build and execute a compelling social and influencer strategy that amplifies brand voice and drives engagement.
  • Parkrun Partnership Activation - Take our Parkrun partnership to the next level through experiential marketing, sampling, and community activation.
  • Shopper Marketing Innovation - Deliver disruptive shopper campaigns that connect brand equity with conversion, working closely with the commercial and customer teams.
  • Brand Identity & Governance - Be the custodian of brand identity, ensuring consistency and distinctiveness across all consumer touchpoints.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with global and local teams to deliver integrated campaigns, aligning with commercial priorities and unlocking synergies across functions.

For this role as a Senior Brand Manager we’re looking for a strategic, creative, and commercially-minded marketer with the following experience and capabilities:

  • Strong FMCG brand management experience with a proven ability to define and deliver long-term strategies that build equity, relevance, and growth.
  • Excellent creative judgement and storytelling ability, able to lead and develop culturally resonant campaigns through agency partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing social and influencer strategies that drive engagement and measurable impact.
  • Experience in delivering disruptive shopper marketing and in-store activation that connects brand love with conversion.
  • Ability to translate insights into action, recruit new audiences, and stay ahead of market and cultural trends.
  • Skilled in cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and project leadership bringing energy, curiosity, and a growth mindset.
