
To start with, the position of Global Technical Procurement Manager sits comfortably in the Technical & Logistics Department. As a Global Technical Procurement Manager you will be asked to develop and execute of Procurement strategy to ensure an uninterrupted supply of JDE with materials and services in the area of technical procurement.
For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:
Build, lead and coach a high performing team (technical procurement buyers)
Build and nurture effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers across all business units to maximize value, drive continuous improvement.
Define and implement sourcing strategies, benchmark performance, manage contracts, ensure compliance, lead innovation programs, and drive cost-saving initiatives to maintain a competitive cost base and realize tangible benefits.
Identify, prioritize, and implement continuous improvement opportunities in collaboration with key stakeholders, establish performance metrics for evaluation, and oversee high-level risk management activities within category area

Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a certain level of experience of leading cross functional teams that focus on the lowest total cost of ownership as a key target, as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with Technical Logistics and Project management but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture.
