Job Description

To start with, the position of Global FP&A Analyst sits comfortably in the FP&A department (Finance). An incredibly diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! As a Global FP&A Analyst you will be asked to play a critical part in managing and analyzing CAPEX investments and ensuring accurate and timely month-end closing processes across the Group. The Analyst will provide financial insights, drive process improvements, and support decision-making for global stakeholders. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:

CAPEX/ MIC Management & Analysis

  • Support the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of CAPEX budgets and forecasts at global level,
  • Monitor CAPEX spending versus budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities,
  • Prepare monthly CAPEX reports with variance analysis and commentary for senior management,
  • Partner with business units and regional teams to evaluate investment proposals and ensure adherence to approval processes.

 

Financial Planning & Reporting

  • Contribute to the annual AOP (Annual Operating Plan), LE (Latest Estimate), and other forecasting processes with a focus on CAPEX and Cash Flow impacts,
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis and scenario modeling to support decision-making,
  • Process Improvement & Stakeholder Management,
  • Drive standardization and continuous improvement in CAPEX tracking and closing processes,
  • Act as key point of contact for global and regional stakeholders on CAPEX and closing-related topics,
  • Support system enhancements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency and accuracy of reporting.

Qualifications

We are looking for a strong analytical skills, proven experience in stakeholder management, and a strong drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have a 2-3 years of experience in Finance as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves,” however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with your analytical skills and stakeholder management experience but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • +3 years of experience in FP&A, Controlling, or related Finance function.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proven experience with month-end closing processes.
  • Knowledge of CAPEX management, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP, BPC, or other financial systems preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multinational environment with multiple stakeholders.
