Global OT Infrastructure Architect

Job Description

To start with, the position of Global OT Infrastructure Architect sits comfortably in JDE Peet’s Infrastructure Center of Excellence (responsible for cloud, network, end user and infrastructure solutions). As the OT Infrastructure Architect you will focus on creating an end-to-end vision for JDE’s infrastructure services to our Manufacturing Units (OT) and translation of this vision into solutions by working with internal & external stakeholders and partners. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said, we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:

  • Align technology solutions with JDE Peet's strategic goals,
  • Apply technical knowledge and partner/stakeholder insights to develop an end-to-end vision on how JDE Peet’s OT Infrastructure services will support its growth ambition,
  • Develop a roadmap to translate this vision into tangible components for the OT environment,
  • Design architectures that comply with the security reference architecture,
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders for cohesive technical solutions,
  • Enhancing Operational Efficiency: Support to improve productivity and reduce operational costs.

Qualifications

We are looking for a strategic thinker with technical depth and a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it's important for you to have at least 10 years of experience in factory infrastructure implementations, as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves,” however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration how much experience you have with OT Infrastructure and OT Security but ultimately, we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:

  • Experience with industrial systems and MES solutions,
  • Edge computing deployments,
  • Industrial networks
