Job Description

To start with, the position of HR Manager – Global Functions sits within our Global HR Functions team, reporting directly to the Global HR Director. You will act as a strategic HR Business Partner to senior leadership teams (CELT-1) across global functions such as IT, Procurement and Coffee & Tea Sourcing.

This is a highly visible, international role in which you will shape and drive the People Strategy for your functions, ensuring full alignment with business priorities. You will build strong partnerships with functional leaders, senior stakeholders, and associates, integrating the People Agenda into leadership forums and decision-making.

As HR Manager - Global Functions, you will play a key role in building future-ready organizations and high-performing leadership teams, onboarding senior leaders, driving organizational effectiveness, and enabling sustainable business growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and leading the People Strategy for the respective global functions, including organizational blueprinting and strategic workforce planning.
  • Translating business strategy into a clear HR Roadmap that increases efficiency, effectiveness, and competitiveness across HQ and regions.
  • Acting as change leader and managing Works Council consultation processes, including communication and execution of transformation initiatives.
  • Participating in Global Leadership Teams, leading the People & Performance Agenda.
  • Serving as communication lead for the People Agenda across townhalls, conferences, and functional leadership forums.
  • Driving Global Strategic Talent Planning and long-term Succession Planning, including chairing annual Talent Reviews and Performance Calibration sessions.
  • Upscaling functional and leadership capabilities, strengthening bench strength through targeted development programs and initiatives.
  • Leading and contributing to global HR projects that drive synergies and efficiencies across International Headquarters and regions.
  • Building bottom-up AOP People plans and leading monthly forecasting and reporting on FTE and SG&A people costs.
  • Driving the full Annual HR Cycle, including Talent Management, Performance Management, Engagement, Learning & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Onboarding, Absenteeism and Turnover.
  • Embedding a high-performance culture, supporting leaders with performance improvement plans (PIPs) and leading involuntary exit processes where required.
  • Providing data-driven insights on people metrics such as DE&I, turnover, performance trends, engagement, mobility, recruitment, compensation and grade distribution, and presenting these quarterly to leadership teams.
  • Partnering closely with HR Centres of Excellence including Rewards, Talent Acquisition, Mobility, L&D, Performance and Talent Management to deliver integrated HR solutions.

Qualifications

We are looking for a senior HR leader with strong business acumen, resilience, and a passion for building high-performing organizations.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant HR experience, preferably within complex, international environments such as FMCG / CPG companies.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior leadership and influencing at executive level.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in people data, workforce analytics, and financial reporting of people budgets.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships across cultures and functions.
  • High resilience and ability to thrive in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.
  • Experience with organizational design, change management, and Works Council consultations is a strong advantage.
