Job Description
As part of our Research, Development and Operations (RD&O) organization, the JDE procurement function is on a journey to transition into a world-class organization delivering innovation and excellence for all JDE business ambitions. In this job opportunity, you will be part of the regional buying team, reporting to the Regional Buying Manager.
Your key focus is to manage the regional day to day operations on procurement of JDE finished goods produced by 3rd party suppliers materials in Europe.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Support the development of sourcing strategies and collaborate with the Global Strategic Sourcing Team
- Drive strategy execution, including implementation of tenders, new suppliers, materials, specs across all JDE sales unites
- Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders on regional, local and sales unit level
- Support JDE Growth agenda by identifying, selecting and contracting suppliers as external manufacturer for JDE products
- Collaborate with suppliers on a day-to-day basis to operate and improve the SPM and SRM process
- Ensure an uninterrupted supply of quality materials on a day-to-day basis
- Provide the first line of escalation on issues between suppliers and the business
- Ensures timely qualifications of new supply avenues
- Maintain a strong supplier pool and implement changes
- Identify and deliver value chain optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and has a deep understanding of and manage compliance with the combined business model

Our preferred candidate would have:
- A Bachelor or Master’s degree
- At least three years of relevant experience in a similar role
- An excellent track record of delivering complex projects and service improvement activities
- Successful experience of leading cross-functional teams that focus on the lowest total cost of ownership as a key target
- Ability to work under pressure, high level of stress resistance
- Strong project management and leadership capabilities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- The ability to thrive with ambiguity and change
