Job Description

As Global Director Digital & Technology for Regional Markets, you'll be responsible for leading the digital transformation and implementing technology strategy across all regional business units. While Global Technology Directors in Business domains own the vision and strategy for Consumer & Customer, Supply and Corporate products, The Global Digital & Technology Director Regions is a key point of contact for regions, provides regional roadmaps stemming from central products, and feedback market feedback into central product teams. 

Area of responsibility: 

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION & LEADERSHIP 

  • Own and develop a portfolio of region-specific digital products  
  • Commit to measurable in-market business outcomes  
  • Co-own the global product adoption roadmap in market, with explicit authority to flag deployment readiness concerns, influence rollout sequencing, and hold global domain leads accountable for market fit 
  • Represents the region in global product planning forums, as a product owner with authority to shape decisions, not as a demand aggregator or escalation layer 
  • Lead and inspire a high performing team of adoption specialists, deployment specialists, and regional business partners 

OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE 

  • Feed structured market intelligence and validated business requirements into global product roadmaps  
  • Operate a capacity-based funding model, where regional product capacity is allocated with clear separation between regional product investment and global product rollout support 
  • Drive product adoption in market, owning the full adoption lifecycle including change management, local configuration, and performance tracking against committed adoption targets 
  • Oversees progress against in-market outcome commitments, reporting value realisation and adoption performance 
  • Orchestrates cross-regional dependencies to achieve desired outcomes, driving end-to-end process optimisation across markets 

CUSTOMER CENTRICITY  

  • Foster a culture of customer-centricity and continuous improvement within the regional IT organisation 
  • Monitor market dynamics, competitor activities, and local regulatory requirements, translating these into product requirements with validated business cases, not wish lists

For this role as Global Director Digital & Technology – Regional Markets, we're looking for someone who has the following skills and experience: 

  • 10+ years in IT or commercial leadership roles, with a strong track record in complex, international organisations — preferably in consumer products or services 
  • Demonstrated experience working at the intersection of global and local — influencing global product decisions while owning in-market delivery and adoption outcomes 
  • Proven track record driving digital product adoption in market with measurable results 
  • Proven people and matrix leadership, with experience in agile / DevOps environments and building high-performing teams 
  • Deep understanding of market trends, consumer behaviour, and digital product development
