Job Description
The Regional Procurement Logistics W&D and E-Commerce Buyer is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across Warehousing & Distribution (W&D) and E-Commerce logistics for the EU region, covering both operational and commercial areas. With responsibility for a regional spend of approximately €70–80 million, you will drive competitive cost and cash performance while building a strong and sustainable supplier base. You will identify and deliver productivity and total cost of ownership opportunities through strategic sourcing, supplier development and commercial negotiations. Working closely with stakeholders across functions and markets, you will ensure reliable service delivery, manage supply and price risks, and build long-term strategic supplier relationships. You will also contribute to JDE Peet’s Common Grounds ESG agenda through responsible sourcing, human rights and carbon reduction initiatives.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sourcing strategies for W&D and E-Commerce logistics, translating business requirements into competitive procurement solutions and tracking benefits realization.
- Identify and deliver total cost of ownership, productivity and cash improvement opportunities, building a sustainable pipeline against Procurement targets.
- Lead supplier selection, negotiations and contracting for key suppliers, while proactively managing supplier performance, relationships, capacity and service delivery.
- Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across functions and business units, influencing decisions and driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Manage category risks, including supply and price risks, and develop appropriate mitigation and contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
- Support JDE Peet’s Common Grounds ESG agenda by driving responsible sourcing, supplier compliance, human rights and carbon reduction initiatives.

For this role as a Regional Procurement Logistics W&D and E-Commerce Buyer, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
- At least 5 years of relevant procurement experience, ideally within logistics, Warehousing & Distribution and/or E-Commerce.
- A strong track record of delivering competitive cost, cash and productivity results through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong project management, negotiation, influencing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions and business units.
- The ability to build and manage strategic supplier relationships, identify opportunities for innovation and drive continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical and risk management capabilities, combined with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with ambiguity and change.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant education; a further degree or MBA is preferred. Fluency in English is required.
